We take the best, fresh apples

We take the best, fresh apples, chop them up, cover them with water, and leave them like that at room temperature, allowing the natural sugars to ferment and form ethanol.

Bacteria called acetobacter

Bacteria called acetobacter then do the work of converting the ethanol into acetic acid.

we crush the apples

Alternatively, we crush the apples to create a liquid that we mix with yeast to kick off the process of alcoholic fermentation when the sugar present in the apples turns into alcohol.

These processes also result in the formation of a by-product called the ‘mother of vinegar’. This is nothing but the acetic acid bacteria that are created when the alcohol turns into vinegar.

A membrane-like substance

A membrane-like substance that is completely harmless, the mother contains good bacteria and enzymes. The presence of the mother in our apple cider vinegar is a testament to the natural goodness of the product.

Our manufacturing facility is equipped with machinery from Urschel (U.S.), AC Horn (U.S.), Bühler U.K.), and SPX (U.S.), enabling us to be a leader in our space.

We even have our very own best-in-class R&D division, equipped with world-class labs. These are equipped by AgriQuant (Singapore), Romer Labs (U.S.), and it is in these scientific spaces that we innovate to come up with different compositions, flavours, and quality tests.

Our factory is one that matches international standards, having acquired BRC, ISO 22000:2005, HACCP, and FDA certifications. It is also approved by APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) and FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India). This is how you know that the treats you love are also the right treats for you.

Every aspect of what we do is aligned with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FSMS (Food Safety Management System) guidelines. This means that our facility is constantly sanitised and maintained according to international requirements for a food manufacturing unit.

We’re also always innovating to find new ways to improve our standard of hygiene, particularly now, during the ongoing pandemic. Hygiene and sustainability go hand in hand at MyFitness. Amid the pandemic, all of our employees are encouraged to wear hair caps, face masks, and gloves, and are required to sanitise the premises and every incoming vehicle. There are also strict social distancing rules in place.
